First, Thanks to Lex for making this General board at my (whiny) request.

Let me introduce myself, I'm new to the A.B.E. area and i'm lookin' to get my dork on. I played Magic a decade ago and want to get back into it, and I'm also interested in starting up some Warhammer/40K as well, but im a recent arrival and thusly am rather poor as I catch up on those pesky unemployed during transition bills so I will have to out off getting sexy new gear and stick to my old stuff so I can at least quiet my inner dork who is harping me to do some gaming.

Previously I was a Heroclix Judge and a Mechwarrior battlemaster so I am qualified to run these events and fully equipped to do so (Minus spare tape measures for MW, they were lost in the move) And since Heroclix was bought by a new company recently, perhaps we'll see a resurgance of them and MW as well, but either way, I will set up fun events and interesting formats for the casual players. I also have custom long-term scenarios and stoylines for those who want a more structured game where your battles lead to long-term changes in a overall persistant world. (PM me for details, I have to get the ruleset off my desktop since its not internet capable at this time)

I'm also new to Battletech, but ive been playing it online way too much and want to try more tabletop. I have a few (Still unpainted) minitures and all the required documentation, but also ive heard that some folks use their MW AoD figs for CBT play due to their larger scale, so I wouldnt mind doing that as well. I have Heavy Metal Pro and am able to provide record sheets for mechs to anyone who needs something specific!

So please, post any interest, questions and the like about anything iv'e ranted about. Also This sunday 9/13 I'll be attending the Legacy Magic tournament, so you can find me there with my ancient magic cards and a top-hat. I'm easy to spot.

Cheers~
